Capital Hoedown Update: Refund requests are now being received (UPDATED)

Hello Taylor Nation,

It’s June 19, and starting today Front Gate Tickets started receiving requests for refunds. However, as explained to me during the call the check, that should be received in two weeks, from both my orders will not come from Front Gate Tickets but directly from the organizers from Capital Hoedown. Front Gate was contracted only for customer service and not to handle payments, so they’re just compiling the information and sending it to the organizers. I sincerely hope we all get our money back.

You can contact Front Gate Tickets customer support via their toll free number, 1-888-512-7469 (SHOW), or via their email at support@fgtcustomerservice.com. If you choose to call, be aware the number is busy a lot and when you get through you have about an hour waiting time right now. You will need the Order Number(s) that was e-mailed to you after purchasing your tickets and you will have to confirm your name and billing/shipping address.

To sum up the current status, Capital Hoedown is now going to be held in a new venue on Fallowfield Road and they lost all their headliners. Their last headliner, the Sparkly Dressed herself, had received her security fee which she could’ve kept for herself regardless of whether the concert happened or not. However, her management returned the security fee to the organizers – which was a good move. She’s no longer appearing at the event. With no headliners the show is being revamped, but the site Capital Hoedown has been announcing they’ll have news in 3 days for more than two weeks now.
