Here at the Swift Agency, still one guy who takes advice from people who are almost half his age, we’re glad to hear that for every winner in each category of the CMT Music Awards, CMT will make a donation to the charity of their choice. According to a PR Newswire press release via the Sacramento Bee, the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar has chosen the Children’s Neurostoma Cancer Foundation (CNCF), a non-profit organization that raises awareness and funds to cure neurostoma, a cancer that affects children.

The Sparkly Dressed, who sometimes opts for a floral mini, was last sighted at Joan’s on Third in Los Angeles, California according to Gossip Center.

The Enchantress got another prom invitation request, this time from Devin Whitney. He suffers from Oto-Palatal-Digital Syndrome. Channel 9 News reports the teen got a response via one of Taylor’s representatives a day before the prom, thanking him for the offer but unfortunately unable to attend. She also said she thinks he’s a very special boy. Thrilled to actually get a response, Devin decided to attend his prom anyways. He was crowned prom king of Eagle Crest High School. The 46th CMA Awards have been announced to air live on Thursday, November 1 at 8pm ET, 7pm PT on ABC. Just so you can tell them apart, CMA are the ones hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Taylor Swift is their current Entertainer of the Year. Well… she’s also ACM’s current Entertainer of the Year.

While being interviewed by W Magazine, country superstar Miranda Lambert was asked about her opinion on the Enchantress. “Taylor Swift is a pop singer,” Miranda tells Lynn Hirschberg. “But she really helped country music. When she hit, I was thinking, Thank God Taylor’s out there to show people we’re not cheesy. Some people still think that country music is twangy and cheesy, and they pigeonhole us. But I thought if they’re looking for Taylor’s videos or songs, they might see or hear other people they like. The Queen of Sparks recently got featured in 26th place on Maxim’s Hot 100 Most Beautiful Woman. And… this list is a complete joke. Kellie Pickler is 72nd? Kat Dennings is 97th? Stephen Colbert is 69th? Yes, they let their readers weight in. The list says more about the people that read their magazine than the people in the list. There’s a cartoon character in 85th place. Say no more.

Hello Country Music fans!

Country music superstar Tim McGraw has signed with Big Machine Records. The official announcement was made Monday morning (May 21) at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville by CEO Scott Borchetta and Tim himself.

When you think Tim McGraw… yes you can think of the Sparkly Dressed but do think of the actual Tim once in a while too. It’s his name. Just saying.

“Many people know that I came to Nashville 23 years ago on a Greyhound bus with nothing but a guitar,” said McGraw. “And 23 years to the day, on May 9, I went back to the bus station and officially signed this deal. It was a significant way for me to mark this new beginning. Scott Borchetta has developed a powerhouse at Big Machine, and I’m happy to be a part of what he has built and to call Big Machine Records my new label home. Excited doesn’t even begin to describe how I’m feeling about working on a new album for this next chapter in my career. Here’s to the next 20 years!”
