Agency Profile: Mallary Hope
Name: Mallary Hope
Position: Singer / Songwriter
Superlative: The amazingly talented and beautiful Mallary Hope
Mallary Hope was born in Cohutta, Georgia on June 21, 1987.
The Hopester started singing at a young age in her father’s church. She took the stage at The Nashville Palace to sing “Unchained Melody” and “Daddy’s Hands” at the young age of 9 during a family trip to Nashville. She formed her first band when she was just 12 years old. At the tender age of 15, she won first prize with a song she had written herself. Following that, she recorder her first CD single and music video. She was doing 150 shows a year by the time she was in high school.
It didn’t take long for the family to give in and move to Nashville when she was only 17 to follow her dreams of a music career. By the time she graduated from home school, she had a song-publishing contrack and more than 500 demos recorded as a session singer of Music Row. Love Lives On was released as her debut single with MCA Records in July 2009, followed by an EP of the same name in August of the same year. It was followed by Blossom In The Dust in February 2010.
She co-wrote Georgia Peaches and The Locket which are available in Lauren Alaina’s album Wildflowers.
Her only brush with Team Swift is a Nashville party in which she joined T-Swizzle in an impromptu karaoke duet of Miranda Lambert’s Gunpowder and Lead. Other than that, Mallary Hope is in no way related to The Agency – however, she’s a country artist powerhouse and my friend – so I am making an exception and she gets an Agency Profile.
She is currently working on a full studio album.
