No, this is obviously not breaking news. I’ve been leaving this story to be blogged about by everybody else.
As you know, Taylor (the one I blog about in this website) has been seen frequenting Taylor Lautner, the actor who plays Jacob Black in the Twilight saga movies. They both have roles in the upcoming Valentine’s Day movie in which they are romantically involved on the storyline. There’s a very large ensemble cast, and the trailer doesn’t figure them at all so it’s safe to say they’ve got more of a secondary (or as little as cameo) roles going on. They don’t star in it – which may be a disappointment to fans when the movie comes out.
There are a lot more pictures in the original article in Just Jared Jr. as reported back in July 31st, 2009.
Yes, I know I’m late for the party here. It’s a summary, ok?
First, it was the Fearless tour stop in Chicago, on October 9 of 2009. After performing Fifteen, she gives him a hug. Fans go nuts. It takes place around the 5:35 mark.
Then came the hockey game in Los Angeles back in October 25, 2009.

This is not the first time Taylor (the one with the curly hair) goes to a hockey game. She was seen with Demi Lovato and even been interviewed earlier this same year. As far as early as 2007, she’s been seen with fellow country singers Kelly Pickler and Carrie Underwood for a Nashville Predators game. She would later film a commercial for the NHL.
Earlier in the day, Taylor (the blonde one) picked Lautner up at at Los Angeles airport before heading to the game.
The paparazzi followed them to their hotel and would later take huge liberties weaving a story about them spending the night. It was never confirmed that Taylor (the tanned one) stayed in the same hotel. It was confirmed that Taylor (the Fearless One) was staying with her mom.
Now we come to one of the most memorable interviews of Taylor (the country singer, oh man – this is getting ridiculous). This interview proved to me once and for all, if you want to have a great Taylor Swift interview, you need Ellen. Plain and simple.
There’s so much packed in this interview. You get Taylor Swift laughing out loud. Her biggest laugh is actually at the beginning. That dress was not designed to sit down though.
You get the Stevie Wonder story, although to be fair she had already told it on air with Ryan Seacrest in 2008, right after her previous interview on Ellen back in November 11, 2008. I’m sure Ellen wanted her to tell it on her show.
You get her discussing Taylor Lautner, in which she becomes increasingly coy, adorable and giggly. Fortunately she also gives us one way to tell them apart: calling her Swifty (oh man, why didn’t I post this at the top?). From then on, Swifty (whew! much easier) would always reply What? when asked about Lautner.
The next day we learn Ellen had played a prank on Swifty for her Halloween special.
Swifty addressed the rumors on her musical monologue on Saturday Night Live. Well, sort of…
Swifty had to dodge the question even during her backstage interview after winning big at the CMA Awards. She gets asked about it around the 7:00 mark.
And while she was on London, she gets asked about it so directly on the Paul O’Grady her usual What? doesn’t quite save her this time. It all takes place around the 5:27 mark.
Taylor Lautner would also dodge the question several times. Here’s his recent interview with Matt Lauer on the Today Show on November 20, 2009:
He would later be asked about it again for an article on Rolling Stone.
And so, the tale continues.
As a side note, MuchMusic once did a special called A Date with Taylor Swift in which a lucky fan got to meet Taylor. Funny enough, as they came in to meet her in Chicago during the Fearless tour, they found her talking to Lautner.
