Taylor Swift will not only be performing for the Hope for Haiti concert telethon. According to the Tennessean, she will also be working the phones.
A chance to speak to the Fearless One might just guarantee more than a few calls are going to come in.
“I’ve never actually worked a phone bank before,” Swift said. “But I want to do everything I can to help out this horrible situation. I’m passionate about this. This one was an immediate yes.”
The new single Today Was A Fairytale was downloaded about 100,000 times on Wednesday, the first day it was available on iTunes. She is the top-selling digital artist’s sales now totals above the 25 million. Wait until it becomes available internationally, we will bring that number up even further!
“I freaked out when I saw that it was No. 1 on iTunes,” said Swift. “I’m always blown away by what the fans have the ability to do for me.”
T-Swizzle is also very excited about her new pad. On a past interview with Rolling Stone magazine recently reported by Canoe.ca, “It’s going to be my fantasy world. There’s a pond in the living room… The pond is a moat around the fireplace and may possibly have koi fish in it. You step on a stepping stone in the pond in order to get on a spiral staircase, which takes you up to the human-sized bird cage observatory. They’re delivering a human-size birdcage, which I’ll put a brass telescope in. The ceiling of my living room is painted like the night sky.”
The 4,062 square foot penthouse is valued in $1,990,000 and has 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms as previously reported by Celebrity Gossip.
Several sources including E! Online believe Today Was A Fairytale will be Taylor’s choice to perform at the 52nd Grammy Awards ceremony on January 31st. I’ve had a seemingly official source say so through Twitter. Seems almost official and logical at this point. Tay gets the final word as always.
Taylor Swift will perform and work the phones on the Hope for Haiti telethon tomorrow, Friday January 22nd at 8pm EST on all major television networks.
