Detroit, Michigan has been rocked and will be rocked tonight again. Taylor Swift’s Fearless Tour can add another notch to her headband.
The Fearless One performed her catalog of hits to an enthusiastic sold out crowd at the Palace of Auburn Hills last night, March 26. According to Detroit’s Free Press she shined and was adored by a large capacity crowd of more than 14,000 screaming fans.
For some, she has completed the crossover from country into pop superstar. I will agree wholeheartedly with her superstar status, but will argue she remains a country star at heart. She appeared to be an old pro last night charming her audience and lighting up the stage.
She met with Cory Monteith for bowling and Taylor Lautner for lunch this week. The meeting with Taylor Lautner include parents and publicists so that was probably not a date. The bowling night included mostly friends like Selena Gomez, David Henrie and Cameron Quiseng. There was a hug shared between T-Swizzle and the Glee star, so what does that mean?
Her fanbase keeps growing where you least expect it. In an interview with the New York Times, Omar Samhan, center for St Mary’s basketball team does not shy away from the fact that he’s a fan of Taylor Swift and listens to her music before every game.
Last day to vote for Taylor Swift at the Kids Choice Awards! The show airs tonight, Saturday March 27, on Nickelodeon at 8/7 Central. Please check your local listings. Taylor has her second show in Detroit, Michigan in the Palace of Auburn Hills tonight so she’s probably not attending. That doesn’t mean she’s not accepting though
