Taylor Swift attends at TIME’s 100 Most Influential People for 2010 at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center this Tuesday evening, May 4. You can see all the pictures at Just Jared, Jr. She’s scheduled to perform.

Last night, May 3, the Fearless one was a the Costume Institute Gala at the MET, but still managed to remind everyone what’s going on in Nashville when she was being interviewed by E! News.

“Right now Nashville is under water,” Taylor told E! News during the brief interview. “We had the worst storm in 35 years, so please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. A lot of people back home are not doing well.”

A lot of other country singers have already been voicing calls of support and pleas to help.

Brad Paisley’s road gear ended under water but he tried to keep his spirits up by tweeting, “Just saw two girrafes, two elephants, and two rhinos walking down the road toward a HUGE wooden boat. Thinking about followiing them.”

A lot of other artists like Lady Antebellum, Gloriana and Katy Perry have been using Twitter to urge their followers to donate to the Nashvile Red Cross. This also includes members of The Agency like Amos Heller, Paul Sidoti and Mike Meadows.

And speaking about Katy Perry, she was the one to bring the whimsy to the MET Gala. Here’s her interview.

Katy is always a riot 😉
