The #1 spot on iTunes is Mine

(Source: iTunes)

I don’t really do short posts, but you know what? I knew I’d be breaking all my rules when I started blogging about the Fearless One.

Mine is number one (with a bullet) at the iTunes US charts for all music genres.

In about 6 hours, the single broke the record previously established by Today Was A Fairytale which went #1 in 16 hours.

Swifties get bragging rights, World Cup style! All you naysayers, let’s see you Speak Now 😉

Speak Now will be available for pre-sale on August 20 at www.SpeakNow13.com.

The Sparkly Dressed is on her way to Japan to perform at the Summer Sonic Festival this weekend, August 7 in Osaka and August 8 in Tokyo.

Monday, August 9, is the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Taylor Swift is nominated for Choice Music Female Artist and Choice Music Female Country Artist. Valentine’s Day is nominated for Choice Movie Romantic Comedy. From what I hear, Taylor might even make an appearance. Whether live or via satellite, I can’t really say. Correction: The Teen Choice Awards has announced the Sparkly Dressed is scheduled to appear. Please VOTE!

She is also once again nominated for MTV’s Video Music Awards for Female Video of the Year for Fifteen. Please VOTE as well!

Speak Now is released internationally on October 25 on iTunes and radio stations everywhere.
