The Grand Ole Opry returns home on September 28

Country music artists Brad Paisley and Jimmy Dickens had the honor of bringing back the circle of wood to the Grand Ole Opry stage. An emblematic circle is part of  the Ryman Auditorium which was the home of the Opry until 1974. The circle went under water during the Nashville floods and had to undergo a restoration procedure.

Brad and Jimmy did the honors of christening the circle.

Grand Ole Opry will return home with a star-filled show Tuesday September 28. Scheduled to appear are Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Charlie Daniels Band, Diamond Rio, Jimmy Dickens, Del McCoury Band, Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Mel Tillis, Josh Turner among others. The show airs live on GAC: Great American Country.

You can read more about it at Country Music Cares and at the Grand Ole Opry website.
