Taylor Swift is glad you were around. Her performance on Today.

On day two of the New York occupation by Swift forces Taylor performed for NBC’s Today show. With T-Swizzle in town, we’re quite sure the population is distracted. Someone should really declare this Speak Now week and make it a holiday already. Really.

According to MTV News there was much excitement as Taylor took to the stage set at Rockefeller Plaza to perform live versions of Mine, Speak Now and Love Story.

The Outspoken One talked to Today’s Ann Curry about the rave reviews (we’re still working on ours) that Speak Now the album is having:

“Oh, my gosh!” she said, reacting to the reviews. “It’s unbelievable when you put two years of your life into something, having it be received like that is incredible. I’m so happy because this album means a lot to me.”

Take a look at the performance while it’s available.
