Taylor Swift’s nominations for the 46th ACM Awards

The Outspoken is back in the award circuit this year. Speak Now finally enters the consideration period, which means nominations! Was it killing you like it was killing me? Here we go again!

The 46th ACM Awards nominations were announced and Taylor is in! According to CMT News, she is nominated for four awards: Entertainer of the Year, Top Female Vocalist and artist and producer for Album of the Year for Speak Now. The Entertainer of the Year is fan voted. The voting period doesn’t start yet. You’ll know when I start waving the guitar at your head. 😉

Miranda Lambert is the top ACM nominee with seven nominations, also including Entertainer of the Year. Trailing her with five nods, are the Zac Brown Band and Kenny Chesney.

The Band Perry are the newcomers making it big with four nominations including Top Vocal Group and Top New Vocal Duo or Group. Their song If I Die Young gets two nominations for Single Record and Song of the Year. Kimberly Perry gets a solo nomination in the Song of the Year as writer.

Lady Antebellum is up for three awards with Top Vocal Group and both artists and producers for Album of the Year for Need You Now.

Joining Taylor and Miranda for the Entertainer of the Year nominations are Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.

The 46th ACM Awards will take place in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 3. The hosts will be Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton. CBS will broadcast the event live.
