The Outspoken One joined best friend and UNICEF ambassador Selena Gomez for the UNICEF Tap Project. The initiative involves them filling up tap water from their homes for sweepstakes that will benefit the project to help out 800 million people around the world that lack access to clean water. Other celebrities participating are Adrian Grenier, Dwight Howard, Rihanna and Robin Williams. You can read the original story in Yahoo News.
Mademoiselle Swift was recently spotted in Paris, France jogging along with Caitlin Evanson. She has a concert at the Zenith on March 17.
Taylor may be touring the world but she is still pretty much involved in helping people. Earlier this month, T-Swizzle auctioned off a jersey with her signature for the benefit of the Kansas University swimming team. Taylor’s best friend Abigail Anderson is a member. More on the story on The Boot.
The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar has been known to also help other causes dear to her heart outside the public eye. So, before you ask, there are no official news on Taylor donating to the Japan earthquake and tsunami relief – which means she will or she has chosen to do so already anonymously.
The Civil Wars got a nice spotlight shining on them for the release of their album Barton Hollow. The Houston Press agrees that the fact that the Sparkly Dressed has twitted about their music along with good friend and fellow country singer Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum may have put some focus on ther music. As a personal note, they’re good. Look them up on iTunes.
Her Enchanted Swiftieness remains one of the few celebrities that can fill up stadiums. In a league where you only get Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, U2 and the nostalgic team-up of New Kids on the Block with the Backstreet Boys, Taylor remains very close to the top since she’s still able to sell out shows so fast even a second show must be added. That was the case with her show on June 25 at Gillete Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. A second show for June 26 was added. I’m glad for Brad and Kenny too. Country rocks, have you noticed? You can read the article on the subject in USA Today. The article is called Only the bold still book stadium tour dates.
That is true. But only the Fearless One sells the entire stadium in five minutes.
(Ok, we know there were presale dates before the date but every concert has presales)
