The Outspoken One talked with SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up on Monday, May 2, 2011. The episode will be broadcast on Friday, May 6 at 7 a.m. ET on SiriusXM Hits 1. A second interview will air on SiriusXM’s The Highway channel the same day at 3 p.m. ET.

You can read the original story on GAC.

@FollowCMT announced Taylor Swift’s new video Mean will premiere on CMT this Friday, May 6 at 10/9PM just after CMT Superstar. That’s the good news… the bad news is that it will be exclusive to CMT on the US. For us Canadians, Mean will premiere on Saturday, May 7 at 5:30pm ET after the Chevrolet Countdown according to @CMTCanada.

On other news, Shania Twain will attend the 2011 CMA Festival to sign copies of her autobiography. Sorry, she won’t be performing. Shania has not attended the CMA Fest since 1996 when it was still called the Fan Fair. The announcement was made during the Oprah Winfrey show when Shania gave away 2-day passes to the CMA Fest including accommodations and a brunch. You can read about it in Country Music Is Love.

I really hope Shania runs into Taylor. The Sparkly Dressed considers Shania one of her top inspirations. It’s a close call since Tay has concert dates to attend before and after but I can always hope… 🙂

Remember to vote for Taylor for the 2011 CMT Music Awards. They take place in Nashville, Tennessee on June 8. Taylor is nominated for Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year and Best Web Video of the Year. Go VOTE!
