Hello Taylor Nation…

Ok, I will be honest. I would rather report on Taylor’s Speak Now concert at the Staples Center but since the MTVs are happening across the street at the Nokia Center there’s a good chance for Taylor to make some sort of appearance.

The 2011 Video Music Awards start at 9pm Eastern Time, 8pm Central.

The Outspoken One will probably pop out of her own stage at 8:30pm local Los Angeles time which is Pacific Time. Since there are three hours of difference, the VMAs have to start at 6pm Pacific Time (when will they air on Pacific time TV is another matter). That gives the Sparkly Dressed a 2 hour and a half window of a chance to appear at the VMAs if she chooses to. She literally has to run across the street.

The Outspoken One’s Mean video is up for the new category “Video With A Message” on the 2011 Video Music Awards on MTV on 9pm Eastern, 8pm Central. The VMA’s special surprise performance includes a rapper whose name I forget.

YouTube Presents will feature the Queen of Sparks answering questions from her fans. The questions must be submitted here. They will then be voted on to be trim down to a smaller list that the Blond With The Sparkly Guitar will answer. Voting closes on Wednesday, August 31st.

The last day at the Staples Center is today, August 28! The real surprise performance is who’s she going to bring on stage for the last night. We’ll just have to wait and see.
