Last night of Speak Now L. A.: Taylor brings out Ellen and Nicki Minaj

Hello Taylor Nation!

Last night, August 28, was the 2011 VMAs at the Nokia Center… but the real party was across the street at the Staples Center as the Sparkly Dressed brought the house down for the last night of her four-day concert in Los Angeles, California.

A lot of the hollywood crowd was in the audience last night! Attending were Colbie Callait, Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and a lot of surprises.

The Arm Lyrics last night were: “I wish that I could have this moment for life” – Nicki Minaj’s song Moment For Life. Her covers were Colbie Callait’s Realize and again Gwen Stefani’s Sweet Escape.

Here’s Taylor and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on stage!

Notice how her appearing sound was more of a Star Trek “beaming up” sound xD

Here’s Taylor’s cover of Colbie Caillat’s Realize:

Colbie was in the audience! I kinda wished she’d pulled her to do Breathe but I guess it was not to be. She also covered Gwen Stefani’s Sweet Escape as she did previously.

Here’s Taylor bringing out Nicki Minaj to sing Super Bass:

I kinda hoped for Selena… actually it would’ve been cool if all three of them sang that one.

And I guess you’d like to see Taylor hugging some friends, like Reese Witherspoon and Taylor Lautner…

Update: Ashley Greene does appear there as well, very briefly. There’s no evidence of Joe Jonas being there, so I’ve removed his name.

Lady Gaga’s Born This Way took the VMA for Video With A Message. Congratulations to her! Mean didn’t win a VMA but that doesn’t make its message or the message from any of the other videos nominated any less worthy or any less powerful to the people who felt a personal connection to it.

The Outspoken One’s next show is September 1st in San Jose, California.

Update: Big shoutout to @_Jencita_ for all the video clips!

  1. i love how they changed some of the words to super bass:

f***ing = freaking (i think??….i couldn’t hear it well enough with all the screaming, lol)
    niggas = dudes
panties = pants (again, i think? not sure on this one)

but damn, i was an epic performance, another “dream come true” for taylor i’m sure!! yay 😀

    1. Rumors say he was backstage, but since that’s unconfirmed I’ve removed his name. See the Update below the clip.

      1. I was looking for him we were literally standing two feet away from sound booth and i didn’t see him anywhere! I haven’t seen any pics or videos of him there…. Guess we won’t know….until someone finds confirmation. lol thanks! 🙂
