Hello Taylor Nation,
The Sioux City Journal featured Grant Mickelson as one of the Sioux City natives that have become prominent wingmen for artists in the spotlight. Grant is known as Taylor Swift’s guitar player. Here’s Grant along with Claire Callaway at Brittany and Mike Meadows‘ Christmas party.
“I’d love to have enough longevity to be put in that group,” said Grant to the Sioux City Journal. “Working for Taylor is incredible.”
He remembers being put in the jazz band of North High School by his teachers Larry Kisor and Kevin Linder. “I started playing guitar in the eighth grade and almost instantly knew making music was what I wanted to do with my life.”
You can read the Sioux City Journal for the full story. You can read more about Grant in his Agency Profile.
On other news, country singer Charlie Worsham has posted his Christmas Cover Challenge video featuring The Agency’s background vocalist Elizabeth Huett. The cover is the Christmas classic, Winter Wonderland. Let’s go to the video:
And finally, you probably know we’re expecting some sort of surprise come tomorrow, December 13, when the Always and Forever Fearless One becomes 22 years old. Sometimes we wish she’d never grow up… but we all have to grow up someday.

In that video with Liz, “Charlie’s Winter Wonderland”: the part where Liz runs into those guys and meets Charlie is really well done, very cute and very funny. They get an “A”. That kind of meeting is very human, and depictions of it go to the heart.
Grant Mickelson
Charlie Worsham
these guys are the best.
