Everything you need to know about the 2012 People’s Choice Awards

Hello Taylor fans,

Yes, everything you need to know except the one thing you want to know… is the Sparkly Dressed going to appear? Historically speaking, she’s always been a winner at the People’s Choice Awards. If you take a look at the Ustream (begins January 11 at 7:30 ET) her face is used to promote the red carpet livestream. The truth is that if you’ve seen the latests red carpet, the Outspoken One also tends to be the arrive-in-the-nick-of-time-the-carpet-is-almost-closed one!

Here at the Swift Agency, still one guy that misses the crazy busy days of the Speak Now Tour, we can actually go back to Taylor’s two previous PCA’s in 2010 (she won Female Artist of the Year) and 2011 (she won Female Country Artist of the Year). Just reading my own blog entries I recall this is a show where I’m usually interested in the Outspoken One and… not much else. At least this year, I’m looking forward to seeing Faith Hill perform. That makes me think Taylor will try to be there. On the other hand, according to Entertainment Weekly, Katy Perry has cancelled her appearance. After a much publicized break up with Russell Brand, she’s skipping out on the PCA’s.

The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar is nominated for Favorite Country Artist, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Tour Headliner.

Here’s the promo. The voting for most categories has already closed.
