Hello Taylor nation,
The People’s Choice Awards took place on January 11, 2011. Hosted by Kaley Cuoco, the show ran for about two hours and focused primarily on TV and movies. There were a few awards announced to the side, but the nominations that regarded the Outspoken One were not included in the broadcast.
According to the People’s Choice Awards website, Taylor Swift won for Favorite Country Artist.
She was also nominated for Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Tour Headliner. Katy Perry won those awards. Please don’t put anything hateful on the comments regarding Katy Perry. I understand if you want to voice your opinion, but again this is not a public forum so I’m asking you to be nice. Katy happens to be a very good friend of the Sparkly Dressed so any comments even resembling an insult will not get approved.
I know my twitter commentary sometimes is a bit too harsh on certain award shows. To tell you the truth, I’m trying to get it all out of my system so I don’t need to say it here. I think I said all I wanted to say about how the show. Twitter is a public forum, so if you want to vent that’s the place to go.
The only country artist present on the show was Faith Hill, who performed her new single Come Home.
Read the People’s Choice Awards to find out the rest of the winners.
