Hello Taylor Nation!

The Sparkly Dressed is getting her groove on at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. She’s going to see the screening of the HBO documentary, Ethel, based on the life of Ethel Kennedy. According to, she spend yesterday night (January 19) at the Artist at the Table Dinner and Discussion with Rory Kennedy, the filmmaker. The screening will take place today.

The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar also had the chance to meet and talk with the president and founder of the Sundance Institute, the celebrated filmmaker Robert Redford. She also was seen with Mary J Blige, Kendrick Scott, Shoree Boyd, and Derrick Hodge among others.

This is what the Outspoken One said in Vogue about meeting Ethel and Caroline Kennedy.

“I got to spend the afternoon with Ethel a couple of weeks ago. She is one of my favorites because you look back at the pictures of her and Bobby and they always look like they are having the most fun out of everybody. You know, eleven kids, all these exotic animals on their property. I’ve read a lot about them.”

Some will say, showing up at a Festival like that is an act of self-promotion. Well, depends on how you put it. If you are in the public eye and are part of the entertainment business, any appearance at a well publicized event is a chance to promote yourself. In this case, she did have a reason to be there since she had met the Kennedys, so don’t think she did this out of the blue.

  1. Love sharing our most coveted mountains with Taylor! Sure hope she has a wonderful time in Park City, she is well loved here in Utah.
    Come back soon Tay!

  2. It’s great to see Taylor able to meet one of the people she admires. I remember her gushing about reading a great 900 page book on the Kennedy Women last summer…and we know that Taylor is someone who knows how to make things happen, so congratulations to Taylor on meeting some of the Kennedy women! 🙂
