The Outspoken One takes a stroll through Hyde Park

Hello Taylor Nation,

Here at the Swift Agency, we’re still just one guy who may or may not have ninjas who will work for cake, we know there’s a zillion other sites to look up news about the Sparkly Dressed. We’re glad to have faithful readers that come back to see how (or if) I’m going to report the latest news. I’d like to make it clear that although I try to dodge the usual gossip, I don’t consider my blog better than others. It’s just a preference, and an option for a lot of readers that prefer to avoid that. Of course, you’ll have to put up with my own brand of humor 😉

The Outspoken One has been keeping busy in London. According to Daily Mail she visited Hyde Park, where there’s a memorial fountain dedicated to Princess Diana. Taylor was also seen around town doing some shopping.

No official word on why she’s in London. I’ve read the rest of the article echoing the rumor she’s rehearsing for Les MisĂ©rables. Regardless of the initial, yet to be confirmed, rumor that she’s part of the cast she has yet to be seen in rehearsals. I’m just saying you don’t know what you don’t know.

Update: Producer Cameron Mackintosh announced in public that Samantha Barks will have the role of Eponine that was rumored would be going to Taylor. Original story on HitFix.

  1. Personally, the fact you don’t blog anything unconfirmed or anything private or gossipy is why your blog is preferred by those that like factual, honest infornation regarding Taylor and The Agency. Integrity is priceless and very much appreciated….don’t ever change!.

  2. Hi! I love your blog. I’m one of those crazy stalker readers. I really hope Taylor will star in Les Mis… The role she is rumored to play, Eponine, have a big solo number where she sings the amazing song On My Own. I want to hear it with Taylor’s voice so badly! I also think it would be a good career move for her to star in the film. She would be recognised to a more adult audience. Starring in a musical, even if it’s a movie, requires enormous amount of talent. We all know Taylor possesses this talent, but if she would be featured in the movie no one could ever accuse her of not being able to sing again (especially since the movie will feature live singing).

The only obstacle for her not being in the movie, that I can see, would be her next album. Its rumored October release is crashing with the Les Mis premier in December. She will need a lot (!!!!) of time in the studio to finish the album and the production and reversals of Les Mis will take place during the same time. Taylor have stated before that music will always be her first choice, which is comforting, but I would hate seeing her dis this opportunity because of it. This movie will be HUGHE and it will be watched for many many years to come. It can open so many doors for her. And we all know she likes theater and Broadway.

I hope to see her on the big screen!
