Hello Taylor Nation,

That’s the new album cover for the companion album for The Hunger Games.

The Agency is now in California ready for the Grammy Award night, but we still don’t know what the Outspoken One will be performing on Sunday, February 12. One thing we do know is that Reuters has announced Viacom and Taylor Swift are aiming for a global launch of the music video premiere of Safe and Sound, the first single off the soundtrack on February 13. The video premieres on MTV News special at 7:54 p.m. ET, and it will be broadcast simultaneously on MTV’s channels in Canada, Europe, Latin America, Australia, Asia and Africa. It will air online exclusively at in more than 150 territories.

Following that, the video will be shown on CMT and across MTV’s digital properties, from to to MTV’s international sites. If someone puts a regional lock on what it’s supposed to be a worldwide release, expect a rant of swiftacular proportions.

The haunting song is performed by Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars. With both of them scheduled to attend the Grammy Awards, there’s a possibility that Safe and Sound will be the song performed on Sunday, but with The Agency attending there’s no telling if we will hear something else. A new song? A medley? I’ve learned not to try to second-guess the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar.

The Hunger Games movie opens March 23, but the LA premiere is on March 12. You can read more about it at
