Every time a song, album, video or movie gets released usually means not only financial gain, but audience – or traffic, if we’re talking the internet – to whoever has managed to secure the rights to the premiere. It’s a commercial world out there. There’s a lot of opinions on leaking songs, but I’m not going to be a moral compass and tell you what to do. However, I’d like to reinforce one of my old editorials and remind you that nobody out there gets to define if you are a “good”, “bad”, “real” or “fake” fan except yourself. You can be a great fan even if you didn’t RT that tweet that said that you were a bad fan if you didn’t RT that.
According to PopCrush, the expected track from B.o.B.’s upcoming album Strange Clouds, Both Of Us, which features none other than the Enchantress, does a good job at blending the styles of both artists. You’ll have to go over there if you want to hear it, I’m not hosting the file here. T-Swizzle’s lines are repeated throughout the song: “I wish I was strong enough to lift not one but both of us / Someday I will be strong enough to lift not one but both of us.”
Personally, I think she did a good job but I’m not a big fan of the entire song. Perhaps it will grow on me, perhaps it won’t. And yes, you can be a great Taylor fan even if there’s a few songs you don’t like. Once again, other people don’t get to define you – only you have that privilege 🙂
According to Idolator, the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar has another collaboration coming up with Justin Bieber on his album Believe.
