Sgt. Wade Daniel Wilson, 22, was killed in combat in Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. He was also a member of the Taylor Nation, a fan of Taylor Swift.
He was laid to rest in his hometown of Leona. The Sparkly Dressed made a phone call to the family of Sgt. Wilson. She also sent flowers with a personal note, and reportedly will be wearing his dog tags on her next music video. You can read the original story at KBTX.com and MilitaryTimes.com.
