The CMA Fest Fan Fair Hall: Lessons learned from round 1 and on to round 2

Hello Country Music fans,

Here at the Swift Agency, one guy that doesn’t like to give out so many bad news in a row, we’re glad that we can count on the CMA Fest to happen next week! Speaking about that, people should be getting their emails with the results from the 1st round. Here’s the Fan Fair Hall, in all its glory:

Believe it or not, choosing just your favorite artists and leaving the rest blank doesn’t improve your chances. They don’t take a look at everyone’s list and decide to give it to someone just because they only picked one Meet & Greet. They take everyone who wants to meet, say Martina McBride, and roll the dice. If I chose every possible artist on the list, I improve my chances on getting someone. I got two. Not the ones I wanted, but still I will meet them.

Works even better if you used the group of two form, that way you can apply and mention your friend and your friend can apply and mention you. This way you can go to each other’s Meet & Greet lines. However, there is potential for abuse the moment you exchange for the actual passes, since someone could start thinking about selling them… Although they still would need to travel to Nashville on the day before to do the exchange.

Confused yet? I expect the new and upcoming artists to give up and just meet whoever wants to talk to them.

Anyhow… Round 2 begins. You can sign up at the Fan Fair Hall the day before the drawing – but if you already filled up the online form, you’re already in the list! They will send you either a text or an email with the results. You better keep your phone charged.

Hello Taylor Nation!

More from the Walmart’s shareholders meeting! The Blonde With the Sparkly Guitar was one of the many artists performing at the convention. Justin Timberlake did hosting duties. We don’t get to see the performance, but here’s a funny clip of Justin interviewing the Enchantress. Cue the video!

You get to see Both of Us: B.o.B and T-Swizzle to appear in music video!

(Source: Walmart)

Hello Taylor Nation!

It’s June 1st! Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who’s waiting for the CMA Fest to send him the list of meet and greets he gets to stand in for at the Fan Fair Hall, we’re still expecting that e-mail to show up in our inbox…

Here’s the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar performing at Walmart’s shareholders meeting. The chain of stores spared no cost with Justin Timberlake performing host duties and performances by Taylor Swift, Lionel Richie, Zac Brown Band among others.

In the meantime, I’m looking forward to seeing the Outspoken One featured in B.o.B’s music video for Both Of Us. The hip-hop artist tweeted the Enchantress quipping about the many wardrobe changes they had to go through on the video. Based on previous information, we can expect the Sparkly Dressed to wear Sgt. Wade Wilson‘s dog tags on the video. He was the marine killed in Afghanistan.

The Queen of Sparks gets her own exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, opening June 6! Members will get a sneak peek during Hot Nights at the Hall on June 5. David Nail will perform. You can guess what I’m doing that night.
