Stuff Is About To Happen: The Sparkly Dressed visits New York City and London

Hello Taylor Nation,

Here at the Swift Agency, just one guy who can confirm that it’s killing me like it’s killing you, we prefer to wait on certain news until we get confirmation. If you happen to not live under a rock, you probably heard from a certain Blonde With A Sparkly Guitar saying “Stuff is about to happen“. Cut to 10 days later and the entire Taylor Nation is still on pins and needles.

Then this picture shows up from London.

Playing detective on Twitter, you’ll see that Scott Borchetta tweeted about being back from New York and London on July 14. He even added that, “things are heating up.” Then there’s the tweets from employees from Republic Nashville¬†/ Universal Republic in New York City sighting T-Swizzle, which actually sent a few misguided people into thinking that the Enchantress was changing labels. In case you haven’t figured it out, Big Machine Label Group contains Big Machine Records, The Valory Music Co.¬†and Republic Nashville, which is a venture started by Scott Borchetta with Universal Republic.

Here’s a clip from Tay from her visit to¬†Republic Nashville¬†in New York City via¬†TaylorSwiftVidz:

Now the Queen of Sparks showed up in London of all places. According to¬†GetMusic Asia, a website from Universal Music Group International, T-Swizzle was over there on July 13 introducing seven of the tracks from the mythical fourth album. There’s even the photo that I posted at the top of this entry.¬†Universal Music Group is an umbrella organization that groups many labels including Big Machine Label Group. That’s why you’ll find that the Sparkly Dressed sometimes is called a “UMG artist” when she’s overseas.¬†GetMusic Asia¬†even mentioned that the album would be released in Q4. That’s the fourth quarter of the year, meaning October, November or December.

And so, we still wait for the stuff that’s about to happen while the Outspoken One seems to be organizing things around the world… Whatever it is, it’s global. And so far, it’s secret. It could end up being just the planned global release – but that’s something we’ll have to wait for at least late October. That’s not “about to happen” in my book, but right now only Tay knows.

Taylor Swift is scheduled to perform on the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday, September 22. You can purchase tickets to the festival on Ticketmaster.
