Hello Taylor Nation,

Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who’s been training for the no-sleep weeks ahead, we’re glad to report the Sparkly Dressed has gotten another first. The #1 spot of the Billboard Hot 100 goes to We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. She’s come close with her hits You Belong With Me and Today Was A Fairytale making it to the second spot before. Never Ever makes it to No. 1 on the Hot 100 with a record 623,000 downloads sold in its first week. You can read more on Billboard.

The Princess in Red also gets the highest one-week digital sales total by a female artist, and the second among all acts. The original article is also available on Billboard.

According to the Washington Post, the Enchantress is scheduled to perform at the Stand Up To Cancer Telethon. The event, which will be broadcast across all major USA TV networks (ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC) and about a dozen cable networks commercial-free from 8 to 9 p.m. EDT on September 7.

On other news, the Do Something Awards that took place last Sunday (August 19) aired yesterday, August 21 on VH1. The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar didn’t recap any honors. You can read more on the winners at Entertainment Weekly.
