Showcase: Shayna Steele builds you a Brand New World from Kazuo Zaitsu’s music

Here at the Swift Agency, still one guy who likes listening to new music, we often find ourselves looking into other artists that we would probably have never heard about thanks to a connection to either the Princess in Red or The Agency. In this case, Shayna Steele is an accomplished musical artist. She happens to be married to David Cook, the keyboard player for The Agency and musical director for the Speak Now Tour. Shayna is a force to be reckoned with in her own right.

Today I’d like to highlight her work in an album called Found In Translation which is based upon the catalog of classic japanese songs by Kazuo Zaitsu re-imagined and re-written by western artists. Shayna sings Atarashii Chikyuuo Tsukure which is one of the more cheerful songs with some new lyrics. The album can be purchased at iTunes or Amazon.
