Hello, Taylor Nation.
Here at the Swift Agency, still just one guy who’s barely awake, we managed to stay up and catch a blurry stream of the Queen of Sparks performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. The Enchantress took the stage a little later than scheduled, but it was all worth it.
I want to send a big shoutout to @TSwiftOnTour and @TaylorTalk13 for their on-site updates and pictures. I can’t believe they lasted throughout the night.
There are great pictures out there. T-Swizzle all sassy with her backup singing crew. Tay in front of the giant sign for RED. With a banjo. With a hat. However, I had to put a picture of her with The Agency. I love it when the Fearless One interacts with her band and I needed to see that tonight. Looking good, Paul and Grant!
She opened with Sparks Fly. She appeared in a sparkly dress (apparently she likes those, who knew) from the back and sang her way through the crowd. She also sang You Belong With Me, Love Story, Mean and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Thanks to @TaylorSwiftVid for all the clips. Drop everything now with Sparks Fly.
She changed to shorts (it’s her thing now) for You Belong With Me.
She couldn’t really do a performance without Love Story.
Then she took out the banjo by saying, “Is it ok that I brought the banjo?” It appears the screams were not loud enough because she reiterated, “I need more assurance than that!” And she got it. Mean was on. There’s that little pause at the end of “about how I can’t sing” where someone was definitely missing for me… Heartbreaking moment.
And finally she closed with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Here’s her interview with iHeartRadio:
