Countdown to RED: T minus 13 days. The Queen of Sparks talk to Esquire magazine.

Hello Taylor Nation,

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who knows it’s going to be trouble counting down to RED so shame on me for being impatient,  we’re obviously anxious for the release on October 22. I Knew You Were Trouble is now available on iTunes! Meanwhile, the Princess in Red has not been idle. She’s been talking to Esquire in an interview that is both coy and revealing. We’re just going to give you some highlights here. The magazine should be out now.

Esquire asked the Sparkly Dressed about drinking Scotch. “I don’t drink much alcohol,” said Tay. “If it doesn’t taste like candy or sparkles, I usually don’t drink it.” And when pointed out that few things taste less like candy and sparkles, she revealed, “wine sometimes, because it makes me feel classy, but not Scotch. Not yet.” I like that she didn’t say never.

This what she said when they asked her if she’s worried about running out of breakups to write about:

This is breaking news, but there are a few happy songs on this album. I do explore the emotion every once in a while. I’d like to think you don’t stop being creative once you get happy. My ultimate goal is to end up being happy. Most of the time.

You can read the original article at Esquire and catch the full interview on the magazine available on newsstands everywhere.

I Knew You Were Trouble: Available on iTunes now!

Hello Taylor Nation,

Here at the Swift Agency, still one guy who’s hoping to somehow fit CMA Fest 2013 in his budget, we’re happy to announce that I Knew You Were Trouble is now available on iTunes! Yes, it works for Canada too.

The Princess in Red once described this track as the song nobody would expect from Taylor Swift. The song has a bit of a dubstep vibe. Even a bit of hip hop? Like my friend @abbytaylor13 says, Taylor is her own genre. Not the first time I’ve heard that and it’s true. That said, this song is an unexpected piece of work from her. I think this could be for the Red album what Haunted was for Speak Now. It’s the wildcard song of the album.

Here’s the preview from Good Morning America this morning.

To be honest, that little preview doesn’t do it justice. Go to iTunes and get it!
