For all the criticism that mainstream media unleashes upon the Enchantress, you have to admit she’s always been one to prove them wrong. Although she always does it in a very subtle way, never quite caving to the pressure but always performing past expectations. If you’ve heard State of Grace, you probably can figure out it’s a highly demanding song. Even though you could hear a slight sickness in her voice, and the strain she had to put on her vocals, Taylor never misses a beat. With very few counted exceptions, she’ll march on like a trooper. The result was a great performance on the X-Factor tonight.
Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who’s coincidentally suffering from a bad cough, we just want to praise the Sparkly Dressed because it’s not the first time she’s had to power through a song amidst bad health. We hope she rests up and recovers – okey, she won’t rest up but I just hope she’s back to full health soon.
MTV News reports the Queen of Sparks will join in during MTV’s Restore the Shore relief effort to help the victims of hurricane Sandy earlier this month. Chances are it’s a taped appearance but as with everything she gets involved in, it will have a personal touch.
“As a kid, I spent my summers at the Shore, and I have so many amazing memories for that time in my life,” said T-Swizzle. “So I’m sending all my love and support to all the people in New Jersey who suffered through Hurricane Sandy. It’s time to restore the Shore.”

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s hoping he can stay awake tonight, we’re glad to here that the People’s Choice Award has finally resulted in three solid nominations for the Princess in Red: Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Country Artist and Favorite Song for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. The show airs on January 9, 2013 on CBS. Make sure you don’t forget to vote here.

Here at the Swift Agency, one guy who wishes blogging would burn calories, we’re still hearing from the Enchantress’ small promotion tour of Europe.
The French newspaper Le Parisien interviewed the Princess in Red, including a short photoshoot of her hiding in the curtains, a-la-Speak-Now.
She explains she leaves nothing to chance: rights, image, website, CD sleeves… everything needs to go by the Queen of Sparks, who created her own company to manage her career (13 Management, her music label remains Big Machine Records). For Taylor, Country is less a matter of music and sound and more of honesty and storytelling.
The Sparkly Dressed appeared last Monday on the Leute Heute TV Show in Germany via a taped segment and interview. Go watch here.
Tay and The Agency are leaving soon for Japan. She is scheduled to appear on the Saturday Sound Studio for a special on November 24.
“I’m really proud of the record,” T-Swizzle tells the magazine, “but I’m always nervous about everything. There’s a great deal of terror that fills my mind before I do anything, really. We’re talking before an album comes out, before a photo shoot, anytime I read my name in print. There’s a huge amount of pressure and responsibility because millions of people are going to potentially spend their hard-earned money on the album, and there’s a great responsibility for the critics who will write about it, and responsibility for the girl who is going through a breakup and needs a song about what she’s feeling, and responsibility for the girl who doesn’t feel good about herself and needs a song for that, too, and I worry about saying or doing the wrong thing.” She took a breath and then said laughing. “Do you see the rabbit holes I go down?”
Here’s the Sparkly Dressed promoting the new Sony camera, NEX5R.
