Hello Taylor Nation!

Here at the Swift Agency, still a guy who’s trying hard not to get sick in a winter wonderland (cough), we’re just letting you know that RED remains at the top of the album charts. It did dropped to number 2 a couple of weeks ago, but it gained back its spot.

The new Bruno Mars album came out moving an respectable 187,339 units, but it wouldn’t be enough. The former Outspoken One’s fourth album actually went up 22% to a respectable¬†203,333 and gaining the top spot once again. You can see the full album sales list at HITS Daily Double.

According to Country Weekly, Taylor fans in Australia will have an extra reason to rejoice this Christmas. The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar will visit them during the holiday season to promote her album RED. Thanks to Isabelle Swift‚ÄŹ¬†for the heads up!

Update! I found the source of this news appears to be ABC News Radio. However, I have found reasons to doubt this is no more than a reprint from her earlier visit this month. Namely, the fact that Big Machine Records has a post about the visit in past tense. That clears it up for me. Sorry for the confusion everyone, that was meant to be about her last visit.

She’s expected back in New York City on December 31 for¬†Dick Clark‚Äôs New Year‚Äôs Rockin‚Äô Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

The Sparkly Dressed has been nominated for the 2012 PopCrush Music Awards. She’s up¬†Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together), Album of the Year (RED), ¬†Video of the Year¬†(We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together), Best Live Performer, Biggest Headline (RED), Best Magazine Cover (Glamour),¬†and¬†Best Perfume (Wonderstruck Enchanted). The results are revealed on PopCrush¬†on January 16.

On feline news, here’s Meredith informing Tay that her song is on the radio. That or she wanted to play.

Good girl, Mer! Thanks to TaySwiftVidz for posting.

T-Swizzle is also nominated for the World Music Awards¬†on December 22¬†for¬†World’s Best Album (RED), Song¬†(We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together), Video¬†(We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together), Female Artist, Live Act¬†and¬†Entertainer of the Year. You can vote here.

  1. I not sure how accurate the Country Weekly article is… Taylor was here (in Australia) only a couple of weeks ago promoting her album and the radio and television stations were all promoting the visit lots. For this supposed visit though, there has not been any word from the Australian media about it so I’m, for one, skeptical.
