Hello music fans,

I know there’s an award show coming up tonight but this post is long overdue. As you know, The Civil Wars are on hiatus after announcing they cancelled their remaining tour dates after citing irreconcilable differences regarding tour dates. They also said they hoped to have new music this year. We here at the Swift Agency still hold a glimmer of hope of seeing John Paul and Joy on stage performing together again.

A sure sign would be for them to appear at the 55th Grammy Awards and perform Safe and Sound with the Enchantress. Don’t you dream impossible dreams… then again sometimes they’re worth having. They keep you young.

The americana-folk duo held a contest for a music video for their track 20 Years at the end of 2012. They announced the winner on December 11, 2012 and posted the video on their official YouTube channel:

The Sparkly Dressed will be attending the People’s Choice Awards 2013 tonight Wednesday, January 9 at 9/8c on CBS. She’s not scheduled to perform… so far at least. She has three nominations: Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Country Artist and Favorite Song for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

The RED, ahem, the red carpet starts at 8pm Eastern Time and will be seen online via ustream.
