Hey Taylor Nation,
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s staying in while the wind and the snow play havoc outside, we know there has been lots of news about the Princess in Red this week.
Actually, let me rephrase that – there’s been lots of gossip about Taylor recently. Some real news managed to get in past the rumor flood, and those are the ones we’re interested in.
The concert in East Rutherford, New Jersey on July 13 at the MetLife Stadium went on presale today, January 20, as announced. Hopefully everyone that was expecting that one managed to get a ticket. General sale opens on Friday, January 25. Remember for up to date information you need to check TaylorSwift.com and Ticketmaster.
The Enchantress was nominated for the CMC Music Awards 2013 and you can vote if you want to. She is up for International Artist of the Year and International Video of the Year with The Civil Wars for Safe and Sound.
Official references to the Queen of Sparks attending the BRIT Awards 2013 were taken down, which means… Well, chances are high she’s not attending anymore. I’ve taken down my post on it as well and although I keep the date in the calendar, we’re no longer sure she’ll be there. A bit of a blow to the UK fans who were hoping to catch a glimpse.
Accomplished conga and percussion player, Daniel Sadownick, has confirmed he won’t be touring with the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar on 2013. He remains a member of his other band, Screaming Headless Torsos.
I’ll be sure to bring you news regarding anything new that comes from him or his projects whenever I hear about it. Good luck, Danny! You can keep in touch with him via Twitter @DSadownick.
He will always have his Agency Profile: Daniel Sadownick here.
There’s been a lot of chatter back and forth about new members of both the band and the dance crew coming in and old faces not coming back for the RED Tour. Unless made public, we won’t get a direct response about this. We will know beyond a shadow of a doubt when the RED Tour starts.
In general Rumor Control, let me state that the Princess in Red is not in any feud whatsoever with anybody else.
Also here’s a mini-rant: every songwriter creates songs based on his or her experience, so past relationships will inspire love songs. I wish critics will get the point that Taylor is not the only one that does this and to be perfectly clear, a lot of her current craft is based on multiple experiences. In layman’s terms, she’s also known for writing songs based on a sentiment, but not one exclusive former lover. And not since Forever and Always has she ever revealed who the song is about. This is more the rule rather than the exception on RED. That clear enough?
Tay is expected to perform on Spain’s award ceremony for Los Premios 40 Principales on January 24 at the Palacio de Deportes in Madrid, Spain. She also will attend the NRJ Music Awards 2013 on January 26.
T-Swizzle will take the stage at the 55th Grammy Awards live on February 10 on CBS. She has three nominations: Record of the Year for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Best Country Duo/Group Performance with The Civil Wars and Best Song Written For Visual Media both for Safe and Sound with The Civil Wars.
