Inside the RED Tour: Newark, you were made of Starlight!

Here at the Swift Agency, still a guy that feels it’s been ages since he last blogged, we’ve got some albums to catch up on. That will have to wait. Duty calls. I should say spoiler alert, but does it really apply?

The Sparkly Dressed played the Prudential Center last night, March 27, in Newark, NJ. According to the New York Daily News this tour excels the past ones in costumes, pyrotechnics and set design. The fact that the author notices the elaborate production on The Lucky One and the 60’s throwback You Belong With Me tells me he stayed to watch the show – props. I’ve seen too many reviews that focus on the first numbers.

The Sparkly Dressed chose Starlight for her acoustic set at the B stage. An interesting choice, that makes me wander if there were any Kennedy family members on hand. The song is dedicated to Ethel Kennedy.
