The RED Tour Detroit: The stakes are high, the water’s rough, but this love is Ours

Right now my time is yours, Taylor Nation.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy without a chevy truck because I ride the bus, we’re not going to see the RED Tour until Nashville. Then again sometimes I feel like going to the ones in Toronto. Or perhaps if the Princess in Red decides to come to Montreal again… Sometimes you have to dream impossible dreams.

The Enchantress took on her first stadium show at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan yesterday, May 4th. Hey that was Star Wars day! May the 4th be with you 🙂 Anyways, as it’s going to be the norm for the stadium, there was one additional opener for the show. The honor went to newcomer Austin Mahone.

“I get to hang out with 50,000 people in a sold-out stadium on a Saturday night in Detroit, Michigan,” said the The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar according to the Detroit Free Press. “It’s absolutely extraordinary what you did to make this happen.”

The wildcard song on the B Stage was Ours. Here’s a clip. It’s not the whole song, sorry. I will update this if I find another one.

Thanks to Janelle for posting the clip! Special thanks to Red Troupe dancer Mark Villaver for the huddle picture and opening act Austin Mahone for the one below. And speaking about media, I’ve decided to embed the playlists of the wildcard songs and the guest duets so you can watch them directly on the Videos page.

Go vote for Taylor for the Billboard Milestone Award. The 2013 Billboard Music Awards take place on May 19.

Here’s Ed Sheeran and the Sparkly Dressed with Austin Mahone backstage at Ford Field.
