RED Tour Glendale: Starlight. Amos, Paul & Fender. A story from Tim Roberts. Taylor, the perfume.

What a marvelous tune, Taylor Nation.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who tends to over think everything, we’re over planning things for CMA Fest and we know these things will change. Are you voting for Taylor for the 2013 CMT Awards?

The Princess in Red played a second night at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ last night, May 29. I just had to use this picture of The Agency’s bass player extraordinaire, Amos J. Heller, taken by his wife, Karah Heller. That’s an amazing shot.

The badass bassist also visited Fender HQ yesterday. Fender returned the favor by attending the RED Tour concert and watching Amos and fellow Agency guitar player Paul Sidoti perform on stage. Paul busted out his new custom Fender Stratocaster that he had just picked up from them.

Care to take a walk down memory lane? You should really check out the story of how Tim Roberts, known radio programmer from Detroit, played his part in Taylor Nation history in helping further along a fifteen year old Sparkly Dressed’s early career. Excellent story at Metro Times, well worth your time. Thanks to Paul Whitmoor for the heads up!

The secret song last night, May 29, at Jobing.com arena was Starlight. This is the song that was inspired by Ethel Kennedy. I have to confess, it’s not my favorite. The lyrics do evoke a classic young romance from times gone by, but something about the melody has never quite clicked with me. That’s just my opinion though. Let’s go to the clip!

The Healing The Heartland concert took place last night. You can still donate to help the victims of the tornado in Oklahoma.

Taylor has two nominations for the 2013 CMT Awards, Video of the Year for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Female Video of the Year for Begin Again. The show airs live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 5, 2013.

The Enchantress has released a third perfume, just named Taylor. “My first two fragrances were more about fairytales,” she tells People, “but this fragrance is more about my own style, so I wanted the name to be more personal.” The new fragrance will hit Ulta stores and Ulta.com in late June. You can read the original story at People.
