Welcome to the Nashville Diaries 2013, Taylor Nation!
It’s June and CMA Fest is coming up. I love arriving in Nashville some days early and just checking out some sites around town before the crowds get here. I’ll be honest, for me most of the time they involve food to a certain way.
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s got a couple of friends along this time, we had the chance to check out the Loveless Cafe in the outskirts of Nashville. I happen to love a breakfast menu, but you’re hardly alone if you’re thinking about checking out this place. Get there early. They’re known for country ham, bacon and biscuits. There are dishes that let you sample a little bit of everything. It’s hearty eating, but it shouldn’t be hard for you to finish your plate. I would recommend you get some strong coffee if you’re planning on hitting the road right after.
Here’s a very, very short clip I took:
We also hit Blvd Nashville Bistro last night. This place is in the Belmont University campus area south of Music Row. I had one of their specialty sandwiches which was pretty amazing. Don’t forget your sweet iced tea. It’s a student type atmosphere and you can go for a stroll around the campus.
Taylor has two nominations for the 2013 CMT Awards, Video of the Year for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Female Video of the Year for Begin Again. The show airs live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 5, 2013. Also, don’t forget she’s performing at the LP Field for CMA Fest on June 6.
