Perhaps I’ll have to rename all these articles to Nashville Menus instead. Eating looks to be all that I’ve been doing since I got to Nashville, Tennessee.
We here at the Swift Agency, a guy who almost needed help getting out of a rocking chair, we gotta admit we love food a lot – and southern style cooking can be amazing. For the food, the name, and stories of the Sparkly Dressed going there a lot, I had to at least visit one Cracker Barrel on this visit. We don’t have them up there in Canada. It’s just igloos. I kid.
I went with the specialty of the day which was the Homestyle Chicken. According to their menu, “Two boneless chicken breasts hand-dipped in fresh buttermilk, breaded and deep-fried to a golden brown.” After promising some extra laps on the treadmill when I get back home, I dug in. Then again, I will be doing a lot of walking before the CMA Fest is done. Don’t worry, it hasn’t started yet. Huge shoutouts to @SteveDitch and @HarveyMonster on getting me to do use my own two legs once in a while. Granted, they always have to promise great food on the other side of the hill, but Nashville has never disappointed me when it comes to great cooking.
Taylor has two nominations for the 2013 CMT Awards, Video of the Year for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Female Video of the Year for Begin Again. The show airs live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 5, 2013. Also, don’t forget she’s performing at the LP Field for CMA Fest on June 6.
