Here at the Swift Agency, just an old guy up here in Canada, we’re hoping the Princess in Red has a good time tonight. regardless of wins. Here’s the possible loot for her:

The Sparkly Dressed has been announced as a presenter, so she will be attending the awards.
The show takes place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York tonight, August 25, at 9pm Eastern, 8pm Central. Pre-coverage starts one hour earlier, 8pm Eastern.
MTV has an Live All Access stream that will cover the pre-show events, red carpet and it will be on during the awards show. However, that doesn’t mean it will show the main stage, often enough it’s a backstage camera. We’ll have to wait and see.

For all the European fans, the Red Carpet starts in Europe time at 2am (UK Time : 1am) and the show starts at 3am (UK time : 2am). Thanks to @SwiftyFrance for this information, as always 🙂
MTV’s VMA Voting Rules do state the winner of the award is the top artist with the majority of votes, but their disclaimer do states that they can override the vote for a number of reasons, including “for any other reason that Sponsor believes in its sole discretion to be reasonably necessary”. That still means that the top artist (for the most part) has the higher chances to be the winner.
