Hello residents of Hopesville!
Yes, that’s me trying to come up with yet another reference to the ever-growing fandom of Mallary Hope. It’s a work in progress. Anyway, the songstress from Cohutta has been a busy bee. After what seems to be a very prolific songwriting session, she posted a lot of material to her Soundcloud
Add that to the material she already had and we might be hearing stuff for future albums. No word yet on when will her first studio album be out, but we can only… yes, sorry, I have to do it… we can only HOPE it’s soon.
We’ll start with this song which is growing in popularity. This would be the song I would pick that as her first single for Country Radio. “Tequila and a Broken Heart” is a playful song about heartbreak that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Up next, we’re going with a bit of more Country rock with Crazy After Midnight. If you think the Hopester can’t rock out with her bad self, you’re mistaken. Mal is known for her romantic songs, but she has more than enough range to pull this one off.
This track is so well done and I’d say this one is really studio quality. This is one amazing track that shows how far Mallary has gone. If you don’t think Miss Hope is ready for primetime, please have a listen to this song. This is So Gone.
There’s more where than came from, but here’s a bonus song for you. This one’s not one of hers, it’s a cover of Trisha Yearwood’s Walkaway Joe. It’s just to highlight her beautiful voice.
