All I know is we said hello, Taylor Nation.
You’re probably getting excited for Sunday. It’s the 49th ACM Awards. The Princess in Red is up for the fan-voted ACM Entertainer of the Year award. The probabilities say it someone else’s turn. I’m not against a win by George Strait, he’s legendary. But heart to heart, Old Man Swift to Taylor Nation fandom, I still want Taylor up there.
The Sparkly Dressed visited the Hasbro Children’s Hospital. No entourage, no media. She just alerted the hospital, asked that everyone kept quiet and showed up to spend sometime with the kids. She even manage to sing a couple of songs. That’s not why she deserve awards. Doing charity is the prize in itself, no further reward is offered. The pictures come from the hospital staff and the patients. All the articles and news pieces are done after she left and using personal media courtesy of the people present.
Here’s a video article from NBC 10 WJAR.
These are not reasons to vote for her as an artist. These are reasons to admire her as a person. I’m here to tell you that if she doesn’t win, she’s still a winner. It’s her craft that makes her an artist, but it’s her humanity that makes her someone to admire. I often hear from people that don’t like her music that still believe in her as a role model. I’m not going to push you to vote. That is because as much as I want her to be the Entertainer of the Year, she’s already doing her best to be the best person she could be.
Here’s the ACM – Academy of Country Music‘s video for ACM Entertainer of the Year Nominee, Taylor Swift.
But for me, there’s no option. I vote for her with the hope that if she wins she knows we’re still here. I know she knows already but us fans like to make noise and cheer. So you can choose freely and that is not a ninja behind you, you are just imagining things 😉
Don’t forget! You can now vote for Taylor for ACM Entertainer of the Year for the 49th Annual ACM Awards.
