Be nice, it’s a wonderful legacy to leave behind, Taylor Nation.

The Billboard Music Awards 2014 took place last Sunday, May 18, and there’s nothing to report. Billboard lost the chance to give Taylor any of her two nominations. The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar did make a very short appearance as part of a video tribute to Jennifer Lopez. “You’re Jenny from the block and the fact that you’re still that girl,” said Taylor. This was probably recorded during the Nordstrom Keds Icon event.

On more inspirational and Swift-centric news, a group of fourth graders from Rutherford County’s Lascassas Elementary went on a field trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to visit the Taylor Swift Education Center. They were surprised by the Enchantress herself. She even did an acoustic rendition of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” You can read the original story at The Tennessean. Let’s go to the video:

Thanks to Will Brecht for posting!

And finally the Princess in Red is soon to visit Southeast Asia. Aside of her tour promotion she’s recording clips here and there. Here’s one for AirAsia:

And here’s one for safety on the road via Toyota:

And finally on nothing to report, TMZ reports a lawsuit by Lucky 13 for trademark infringement due to a shirt sold in Taylor’s store that has both the words “Lucky” and the number 13 on it. There’s a bunch of ludicrous demands and misinformed allegations so I’m not reproducing them here. The case will probably be thrown out of court.

T-Swizzle is up for Video of the Year for “Red”, Female Video of the Year for “Red” and featured in Collaborative Video of the Year for Tim McGraw’s “Highway Don’t Care” for the 2014 CMT Music Awards. You can vote here.
