Everyone’s ready to shake it off, Taylor Nation.
Before anything else, I just would like to give the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards a piece of advice to make tonight’s award show the best ever: have a camera pointed at Taylor Swift at all times. In a perfect world, that’s the only camera you need but I get it that you probably want to point at the stage sometimes.
For example, you probably want to capture the first ever live performance of Taylor Swift’s new single, “Shake It Off”. Update! Unless she would choose to surprise us with another single? It’s a remote possibility, but with Taylor regular rules don’t apply.
The show starts at 9pm Eastern time, 8pm Central time on MTV.
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who does listen to other artists besides the Sparkly Dressed, regrets that The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar is not officially nominated for anything.
You can still vote for her using the hashtag #MTVHottest Taylor Swift. You can also vote for our fandom using #VMAFanArmy #Swifties. Other than that, we’re only here for Taylor’s performance and awkward dancing.
Update! All Access MTV Livestream. It will have the red carpet, but no word if it will have the show. Hopefully there’s a camera view that gives us Tay dancing all night 🙂
