I don’t care if it’s the VMAs, Taylor Nation. I wouldn’t have jumped either.
The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards took place tonight, well actually it’s still going on. Luckily for us Swifties with a job on Monday morning, the Sparkly Dressed took the stage early on. In the classic case of reading too much into it, she performed “Shake It Off”. No surprise single. It was expected as the new single was just released.
The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar was not nominated for any awards, but still celebrated with friends Ed Sheeran and Lorde.
Still a great performance, and I loved the joke of Taylor getting down from the sign via the stairs and not jumping. My kind of humor. If you didn’t get, I’m not explaining it. The following clip will probably stop working right after I post it. Update! The old clip was taken down, here’s a new one.
You should really enter the 1989 Swiftstakes to win stuff including meet and greets and concert tickets!

That was such a good performance! I loved the fun, showgirl, kinda 20’s vibe, even though theoretically it doesn’t feel 80’s enough. Anyway, on another, more random note, do you think Taylor might release the tracklist of ‘1989’ any time soon? I was just wondering….
