Aren’t you dying to see how this one ends, Taylor Nation?
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s going to go down in flames, we’re glad to see that the Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar’s next single already has a video from director Joseph Khan. The result is amazingly wicked, positively deranged and you can’t tell me that Taylor is not an actress in this video. Oh, that poor car. At least the horse escaped completely unscathed. Some very clueless people will not realize this is the fake media-fabricated image they have about the Enchantress and NOT her actual character. Their loss. This is my favorite video so far and one of my top favorite songs from 1989.
Directed by Joseph Khan and co-starring Sean O’Pry, this video is the first one in which Taylor plays an actual character and not her own lovely self. It looks like she had a blast poking fun at her own image. It feels like a mini-movie than a musical video.
Taylor will be at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, California on December 5, Capital FM’s Jingle Ball in London, UK on December 7 and z100’s Jingle Ball 2014 in New York City, New York on December 12. The Sparkly Dressed has been nominated for three People Choice Awards: Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Song for “Shake It Off”. The show airs on January 7. You can vote here.
