Tour Talk: New dates for Philadelphia, Chicago and Los Angeles. Taylor will be on Victoria’s Secret.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who believes everyone can want who they want and love who they want to love, we’re all for girl power. Taylor Swift will once again be the musical guest at Victoria’s Secret in London. Also performing that night, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Hozier. The show will air December 9 on CBS according to TaylorSwift.com. That’s a bit of a conflicting show from a feminist standpoint. You can argue for and against women taking the catwalk in lingerie, but the strongest point (in my opinion, this is my blog after all) against it is the self image issues that women face. The mainstream tends to idolize this one ideal of beauty to the point of shaming any outside the norm. There is more than one concept of beautiful. Please remember that.

Chances are you know new dates have popped up since the original tour announcement. Japan’s two Tokyo dates at the Tokyo Dome and Germany’s additional concert in Cologne at the Lanxess Arena were announced in TaylorSwift.com.

However, additional dates have also been added with less fanfare. There’s a new date on July 10 for East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium that I already announced. You also have other concert dates that have been added to the TaylorSwift.com Events page. Namely, one for Philadelphia, one for Chicago and two for Los Angeles.

It’s hard to be on top this, so my advice is that if you are waiting for an additional show when there’s already a date for a venue in your city, make sure you also check the news for the site in that venue in case one is announced that flies under the radar. I will update all additional as soon as I can. New concerts on cities that didn’t have one usually get announcements.

Taylor will be at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball in Los Angeles, California on December 5, Capital FM’s Jingle Ball in London, UK on December 7 and z100’s Jingle Ball 2014 in New York City, New York on December 12. The Sparkly Dressed has been nominated for three People Choice Awards: Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Song for “Shake It Off”. The show airs on January 7.
