She was nightmare dressed like a daydream, Taylor Nation.

Taylor Swift slayed at the 2014 American Music Awards opening number with a theatrical live performance of “Blank Space” complete with flaming roses, flying boyfriends and just acting beautifully insane. All without missing a beat and while lighting the stage on fire both figuratively and literally.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who remembers the time she performed “I Knew You Were Trouble” live for the first time, we know that she’ll use cues from this performance to get the look for the live performance at her 1989 World Tour concerts.

The Queen of Sparks was also the recipient of the newly named Dick Clark Award for Excellence from icon Diana Ross. Notice how she was on point. She thanked and acknowledged Diana Ross as a female artist, she thanked and recognized Dick Clark’s invaluable support to music and finally she spoke to her fans. “I love getting to know you,” she told her Taylor Nation. “I love talking to you online and I love getting a glimpse into your life.”
