You know for me it’s always you, Taylor Nation.
Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who’s writing late even though he’s tired from lack of sleep because he was up last night writing late, we know we’ve gone a little longer with this blog than we planned or expected. Nowadays, I’ve also become sort of a personal curator, seeking out the news that are worth your time. As 2015 starts, I’m going to try to jump over a few personal barriers. Yes, I know places to hide. But to put more heart into this blog, I need to risk stepping out of my comfort zone.
The reason for this entry is to try to break old patterns. Don’t worry, the ninjas will still pop up stealing cake from the kitchen. I just have to accept that doing the same does not give you results. Back in October 2012, I actually went to a concert without my usual suit and tie that I’ve been wearing since the Fearless Era. Instead I dressed up as Waldo (it was part of a group stunt) and ended up in Club Red meeting Taylor Swift. It was a complete coincidence, but at the same time it felt like stepping out of my comfort zone was a step in the right direction.
I’m considering trying a few new things. Be a little more personal. Let the shades drop from time to time. But I’m resistant to changing mediums. My thing is writing. That’s where I came in, and perhaps where I will come out when nobody wants to read my rantings and ravings anymore. However, I might just try one of those mediums for kicks. Like I said, taking a few risks is good.
For years, followers of Taylor Swift have been berated by internet trolls on being less than intelligent, often due to their perceived age. I’m not going to call myself the brightest of bulbs, but I’m not a listener of regular teen idols. Finding Taylor was a fluke. T has always been more than that, and now more than ever people are starting to take notice. For better or worse, I belong to Tay’s older male demographic, and yes she does have one. My name is Agustin, and just in case you’ve ever wondered, I don’t have a plan. I’m making this up as a I go. You can write me at TheSwiftAgency at gmail dot com.

I met you when Taylor played the Cavendish, PEI Festival….and I would guess I’m ten years older, so don’t worry about your age when you’re a fan of Taylor Swift……
…….Taylor is one of the immortals; to me – she will prove herself to be the best musician in history
I remember it all too well 🙂 Not even a bit worried!
