I’ll give you a hint, Taylor Nation. The last name is not a cardinal direction where the Sun sets.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who once won a prize in high school for getting to the finish line in last place, we’re not much for competition. Neither is the Lighting-On-Her-Feet singer/songwriter but nowadays she’s first in line on a craft that suits her best.

Taylor Swift just got awarded the top spot as the biggest recording artist of 2014 according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) according to the UK’s OfficialCharts.com site. The not-for-profit international organization compiles digital and physical music sales, as well as on-demand audio and video streams from 66 countries around the world, including the UK’s very own Official Charts.

Taylor has sold 510,000 units of her 1989 album in the United Kingdom alone since its release back in October 2014, when it was the #1 album. You can read more on the original story at OfficialCharts.com.

The Keds 13 Questions for Taylor Swift video series

We are the foxes, Taylor Nation.

Here at the Swift Agency, just a guy who values his internet bandwidth more than his daily input of oxygen, we’re tired of this deep freeze winter. The Blonde With The Sparkly 1989 Microphone did the wise thing and flew away to Fundon. Ed Sheeran is scheduled to appear on BBC 1’s The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw on February 24.  T-Swizzle will be an special interview crasher.

Over here, she’s left us with the Keds 13 Questions for Taylor Swift series so here’s the entire thing starting from the beginning:

Watch on YouTube

Did you watch the Oscars last night? My OTA signal deteriorated a little after “Everything Is Awesome”. I so need a new antenna. And in case you don’t know, OTA (Over-The-Air) High Definition is totally a thing. I do recommend a finding a good antenna though.
