It’s the 50th Annual ACM Awards tonight, and the memories start now. The Blonde With The Sparkly Guitar will receive one of the Milestone Awards, in her case for Youngest ACM Entertainer of the Year. She’s expected to attend, unless this is going to be a video thing. She really should be there but we don’t know what we don’t know.
The show airs tonight, April 19, live at 8pm Eastern / 7pm Central and tape-delayed for the west coast at 8pm Pacific. If you are watching the live version anywhere else, be aware it’s going be Monday for these cities: 1am on London, 2am on Brussels, 9am in Tokyo and 10pm in Sydney.
The show has got a few landmarks from the Forever and Always Fearless One. Everyone remembers the VMA incident in September 13, 2009. That’s also the year of her massive award sweep at the CMA’s Awards later in November 11, 2009 (see Best Night Ever when I was really, really new to blogging). However, one you probably don’t remember is that Taylor won the Best Album for Fearless at the ACM Awards back in April 5, 2009 before either of those events. Yes, she won Album of the Year for Fearless before that little interruption.
But even before that, she won her first ACM award and one of her first awards ever in 2008, New Female Vocalist. She dedicated that one solely to her mother, Andrea Swift.

- April 19: The 50th Annual ACM Awards will take place at AT&T Stadium outside of Dallas, TX and broadcast live on CBS. Taylor Swift will be one of the recipients of the 50th Anniversary Milestone Awards, in her case for Youngest ACM Entertainer of the Year.
- April 25: Taylor Swift is nominated for Best Female Artist, Song of the Year for “Shake It Off”, Most Talked About Artist and Best Song To Dance To for “Shake It Off” for the 2015 Music Radio Disney Music Awards. The show happens at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California.
- April 25: Caitlin Evanson performs at Lestat’s West as part of the Adams Ave Unplugged event.
- April 26: The 2015 Music Radio Disney Music Awards air a 90-minute set on the Disney Channel at 8pm ET/PT.
- April 30: Grant Mickelson‘s Birthday.
